Murcielago Me!
Everyone has their dream cars – I’ve got a list of them so long you’d have to print it on a scroll. But one car that would undoubtedly be on it is the Lamborghini Murcielago LP-640. It’s got an amazing presence – so low, so long, so menacing. While I’m incredibly excited about the new Aventador, the Murcielago still really does it for me. So as I was driving to work and saw this beautiful machine sitting at Scottsdale Ferrari, I knew I had to check it out. Unfortunately even used this is about 10x my budget for a new car, so all I can do is appreciate its beauty and perhaps pick up a diecast model of it as a souvenir.
This particular Murcielago is Giallo Orion (yellow) with a matching yellow & black interior. It had E-gear, Navigation and a few other options, but when you’re talking Murcielago there is just one magic word: V12.
It was funny to see a Lamborghini with Ferrari plates on it, at a Ferrari dealership – after all, they’re supposed to be rivals & Lamborghini (automotive) was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in part because of a rivalry with Enzo Ferrari and his disappointment in the Ferrari vehicles he had owned previously 🙂
Regardless of whether you’re a fan of Lamborghini, Ferrari, or both – you deny what a great machine the Murcielago is. It was Batman’s weapon of choice in The Dark Knight, after all 🙂
That’s all I have to say about that. I’ll leave you with the rest of the photos to enjoy…
