RS5 Halloween Photoshoot | Yours by John Photography

c091
Reader and Seattle photographer Yours by John recently went on a sick photoshoot with twin orange Audi RS5s and was kind enough to share the pictures here – just in time for Halloween! You may remember John from his Sepang Blue RS5 feature as well as his Sprint Blue B7 S4, but as they say “orange is the new black” and this photoshoot delivers with not just one but two Solar Orange Rs5s…

Orange Audi RS5

John met up with several RS5 owners near the Snoqualmie Falls area of Washington to take these pictures, then edited the photos afterwards to give the neat effects posted here. It looks like they had the fortune of carving up some great (and mostly empty!) roads and enjoy all 450HP of the RS5’s 4.2L V8 powerplant. As is normal in Washington a little rainfall accompanied their drive, but nothing the legendary Quattro system can’t handle!

All in all, there were five RS5s that attended this drive including Johns, which collectively makes up 2,250 horsepower and twenty wheel drive, lol. Both orange cars also happen to have the Titanium Optics package which includes black trim and special wheels, whereas the blue and black cars have the more traditional aluminum optics finish.

I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking…thanks again to John for the shots. If you have any pictures you’d like to submit for a post, shoot me an email at cars@nickroshon.com along with some details!

  1. The RS5 is so badass looking. I have a 2008 Audi S5 and am interested in upgrading the grill with the RS5 blacked out treatment. Are the parts available from Audi and do you know anyone who has done this? Thanks

  2. You can get an RS5 grille for the pre-facelift S5 either OEM through Audi or aftermarket on eBay…the OEM grille is outrageously expensive ($1000) so in this case, I’d suggest getting an aftermarket one. Check this link, you can get either a silver or black finish – make sure you get for the 2007-2011 style, not the newer style (2012+): http://www.ebay.com/bhp/audi-rs5-grill
