I recently got together with some friends in the Phoenix area for an impromptu photoshoot. It had rained the night before so our cars weren’t perfectly clean, but as a celebration of these fine automobiles all being daily drivers, I figured that was okay. It was a quiet Sunday except for the exhaust notes of 5 German V8s and a tuned TT-RS, which was the best kind of noise one could hear on an otherwise quiet Sunday in my humble opinion…
We gathered around 1pm and had on hand three B7 S4s, a B7 RS4, and a TT-RS. Each car had been modified to some degree by the owner, and each had a unique personality and look that complimented the owner’s personality & driving preferences well. It was also a nice variety of colors, making for some cool pictures against the blue-ish windows of the office buildings behind us.
This DTM Black S4 you may recognize from a previous feature, and it remains one of my favorite B7 S4s.
This lovely TT-RS belongs to a friend and also has been featured previously in my TT-RS photo feature.
This B7 S4 avant; however, has not been featured, and it sure is cool. The exterior color is a special order from the Audi Exclusive program and is called Venetian Violet. In some lighting you may mistake it for black, but in most instances you can see a deep purple shine through which is definitely cool. My friend Sophia just purchased this car and I’m super excited for her and know she’ll enjoy it…
Another car you may have seen before is Blake’s RS4 in a feature I ran in 2010. He still owns and enjoys the car and has been helping me mod my S4 as well.
Last but not least is my friend J the W, who has also been featured here before as well. I guess you could say I hang out with these guys a lot 🙂 John’s car is looking clean as always.
Oh, and I had a little fun experimenting with the video feature of my camera and snapped this quick video clip as we were leaving:
I’ll let the photography do the rest of the talking…it was fun to see so many nicely modded B7s in as it made the photos interesting and colorful. It also gave me a few ideas on things I want to change to my car, which I’m sure I’ll be sharing here sooner or later once I get around to it.
If you enjoyed the pics, please share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or Google+!
