TAG Motorsports Grand Opening
TAG Motorsports hosted a Grand Opening party this weekend to show off their impressive new facilities in San Diego / Vista, CA just down the street from HRE. It was a jam packed event with great cars, a strong Audi presence, and tons of eye candy everywhere. It was also well attended by So Cal tuners and aftermarket shops like GIAC, GMG, ADV.1, HRE, AccuAir, and several others.
One of my favorite cars there was Dennis Tang’s B8 S4 which features an OEM RS4 conversion that was done by TAG. This car is incredibly unique and the only B8 RS4 conversion I know of. It also features some super sexy HRE wheels, E-code headlights, a dialed in suspension and handful of other nice touches to make this car pure OEM plus.
TAG is well known for their work tuning Audis as their Instagram account or a search for #tagtakeover will show. There were so many well done Audis there that you almost forgot they didn’t come from the factory this nice 🙂
After living in SoCal for a few months it was good to see some familiar faces as well as meet some new folks as well. I also met a few folks I had been following on Instagram a while like JOS4AUDI and MMASSEY33 which was super cool.
GMG brought out their Audi R8 LMS drive by James Sofronas which was really cool to see, as well as a Lamborghini Super Trofeo that had one of the sickest rear splitters.
AccuAir also brought out some really nice Audis that were of course on air-ride, including an S7 and a few allroads.
Vorsteiner also had a few cars there showcasing their new wheel line which looks really sharp, looking forward to seeing them do more with Audis once again as I’ve heard their owner owns a B8 S4 these days…
I managed to get a lot of pictures at the event, which was no easy feat between the harsh lighting (it was a BEAUTIFUL day with no clouds) and the crowds…here are a few more of my favorites, then thumbnails for the rest of my pics from the day on Flickr.
Beautiful coverage, Nick! Thank you for sharing and putting in so much effort! Keep the pics coming if you have more!
Looks like an awesome event. Thanks do sharing the great pics.
