Wuste 2016 Coverage by Venezia Photography
My good friend David of Venezia Photography absolutely killed it again this year with a great video and photo coverage of Wuste 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, making me sad once again that I didn’t attend. Wuste is one of the biggest car shows in the West Coast and features primarily European cars with a huge presence of Audi/VW, my favorite of course. The event took place at the Palace Station once again where attendees took over the entire hotel and parking lot for the weekend making this “show” more of an experience than just an event. Check out past coverage here: 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012.
The video at the top of this post captures the essence quite well – there is a huge turnout of cars of all types from stanced to track function, aircooled to watercooled, stock to heavily modified. The owners vary too, but everyone comes together for a fun drive out to the Red Rocks, or a casual game of beer pong in the garage – whatever you’re into. The idea is to enjoy your weekend in Vegas doing whatever you want, but be surrounded by cool cars (and car people) the entire time.
The event was the show’s 10th annual showing, which is great to see the event keep growing and continuing on, even as other shows struggle with attendance or cooperating with the town like SoWo. The event was sponsored by Audi Henderson, Findlay VW, Performance VW, Pure Euro, and Solowerks, along with a number of vendors who brought out their shop cars and demoed equipment.
As David pictures and videos show, it was a great turnout and a great time. I’m already looking forward to next year’s event, and going to make a more earnest effort to attend. I’ll let the pics do the rest of the talking by highlighting some of my favorites here, but check out David’s Facebook Album for the full coverage.
Big thanks again to David for letting me share his photos here!
