Prezzi’s Bagged B7 RS4 Avant Conversion
Avants are rare. Purple Avants are even more rare. But a Merlin Purple B7 RS4 Avant? Now we’re talking about a unicorn…and this beauty happens to be for sale, so check out the listing on Audizine, and enjoy these fresh new photos of this purple unicorn courtesy of Tony Sundell (Flickr / Instagram).
The car started life as a black B7 S4 Avant and was converted to OEM RS4 bodywork by De’Caudella’s Custom Refinishing in Florida. The conversion leveraged all new, OEM parts and a full respray to Audi OEM color “Merlin Purple.” It is owned by @fatbrembos (Audizine) aka @prezzis (Instagram) but looking for a new home for just $31k, a drop in the bucket compared to the costs of doing the conversion yourself, as just sourcing a fully optioned B7 S4 Avant alone puts you in the low-to-mid 20K range. The owner estimates the parts alone for the exterior conversion cost over $13k without shipping, not to mention the hundreds of hours of labor going into pulling off such a heroic feat of bodywork and craftsmanship.
But why stop with just a widebody? This car got a serious altitude adjustment thanks to Airlift, leveraging a full V2 air ride setup, and a nice set of 3SDM 0.08 20×10.5 et36/20×10.5 et27 wheels to finish the look. He also has a set of uber rare Volk Ce28n 19×9.5 et22, 19×10.5 et12 if the buyer prefers a more track oriented look.
Performance mods were kept minimal but definitely wake the car up – including 2.5″ catless downpipes, a JHM/FI non resonated exhaust, JHM Short Shifter & weighted shift knob, and a ton of big ticket maintenance items tackled to keep the car running strong for a while.
If you want your chance to own this one of a kind build, act quick! The car is located in the Orlando area of Florida, USA, and won’t last long as someone is bound to scoop it up.
Big thanks again to Tony Sundell for the pictures and Mr. Prezzi himself for allowing me to feature his car.
the rims make the car awesome and the double exhaust makes it a must have
